Quote of the day

"Let us pray. Dear Lord Jesus Christ, and by Jesus Christ I'm referring to blond, good-looking, lightly-bearded or clean-shaven Jesus Christ, not hippie-looking Jesus or swarthy, more Middle Eastern Jesus - who's probably more historically accurate - not that guy. So dear clean-shaven or lightly-bearded-like-Mike-Piazza Jesus, we give thanks to you and to everything you do. Your love and acceptance washes over all of us like the warm healing waters in one of those European toilets that cleans you inside and out. I believe it's called a bid-ett. Dear blond, almost Swiss-looking Jesus, we ask you to allow us to accept everyone in this theater tonight, regardless of their religious beliefs, whether it be Muslim, or Hindu, or Jewish, or witchcraft."
-Will Ferrell as George W. Bush in You're Welcome America

Library

So there was this day that I went to Walden Books looking for a Palahniuk book and they didn't have it and asking the girl behind the desk she recommended Christpher Moore as a replacement. Now as a reader of authors catalogs I was skeptical of spending money on an author I knew nothing about. So for christmas this year I asked for some of his works. My girlfriends parents got me Moore's first 3 books and I have flown through them in about a week in an half and had to go to Barnes N Noble and buy 2 more. Moore is a fantastic author that is funny and riveting and writes novels that you just want to keep reading and reading.

Check him out! Either Practical Demonkeeping or Bloodsucking Fiends those 2 are awesome.

Movies to see!

So there are some movies that people need to see.
Paranormal Activity
Mirrors (which is highly awesome and extremely underrated)
The Goods (This whole movie is funny as shit)

So I've been told by my best friends that Avatar in IMAX is a must see. I'm a little skeptical about it because I see trailers and I'm like yes I want to see that but then I see trailers and say no I'll wait. So its definately up to you if you want to see it or not.

Movies that I want to see are:
Sherlock Holmes
Halloween 2
and probaly others that I cant think of right now.

Peace,
Zissou
