History

Well as of 12 pm on 1/20/2009 we as Americans have offically witnessed/experienced history. Barack Obama became this 44th President of the United States of America and the first ever as an African-American man. This day will live in the history book forever and I for one am proud to have experienced it. This in no doubt eventually become a Jeopardy question in about 25-50 years. I will admit I was skeptical that it would happen in this election, but I did know that one day an African-American would be President. I am proud to be an American and that we as a whole have moved on from everything this country has experienced with slavery, civil wars, world wars and terrorism to show that we have evolved and can change. I wish President Obama all the best of luck with his presidency.
