Just trying

I have found out that as you get older its easier to stay busy and have fun. It used to be that I would take the winter's off and just relax, but not this year. I'm playing softball, football and volleyball. I just can't not be active. It's not in my blood. I have so much fun just hanging out with friends and having a good time, but playing sports is an addiction that I don't ever want to go away. I have to say the reason I enjoy playing on the teams I do is because of the teammates. They are all good people who enjoy playing the game as much as I do. They are the reason I don't jump ship and play for other teams. Yeah we may lose here and there but as long as we're having fun, its not a big deal because we bounce back harder than before.

Champions!!!

The team I play on for softball won the Virginia Beach "C" league championship. We came in as the #1 seed out of our division on Tuesday nights. We got a big ass trophy and basically dominated the competition. The whole team stepped up in the playoffs and it was definitely the most fun I've had playing ball in a long time. The thing about this team is that there is no one person, everybody chips in and does their part and we play as a team. Since we won the title we have to move up to "B" next spring. Looks like sommore good times.
